Educational Institution (AEI), a registered society founded by Thiru.
Si. Pa. Aditanar, with the principal objective of bringing quality education within the reach of students of Tamil Nadu, particularly in the rural
areas, administers Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education,
Tiruchendur.
Padmasree. Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan is the founder president of this college. He is a sportsman and sports administrator par excellence. He has served as a
President of the Indian Olympic Association and is the life
president of Indian Olympic Association now. He is now the Vice President of the Asian Olympic Council and a leading figure of the International Olympic movement, currently holding office in several International Sports-bodies and rendering service to development of sports and education. Further, presently he is the
Vice – President of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu.
Padmasree. Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan is a renowned
industrialist, a newspaper baron of high repute, a dedicated educationist,
quiet unassuming Philanthropist and Launcher of FM radio stations
in South India with a media revolution. Padmasree. Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan has been accorded the unique honour of being appointed the Sheriff of Chennai for two consecutive terms. He is the
Director of 'Daily Thanthi' and has rendered Yeoman service to the Tamil language.
Padmasree. Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan has made an outstanding contribution to the field of education in the state. He has served on the
senate and syndicate of various universities in Tamil Nadu. In
recognition of his service in the field of education, Padmasree. Dr. B.
Sivanthi Adityan has been conferred with Honourary Doctorates by the Madurai Kamaraj University, Annamalai University,
Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and Madras University. Padmasree. Dr.
B. Sivanthi Adityan and his educational service would be understood not
only through his renowned educational institutions but also
through community FM Radio for the rural masses of southern
