ADMISSION PROCEDURE B.Ed Course For Physical Science, Bio Science, Mathematics & English , Candidates Should have secured a minimum of 45 % in part III of the degree in the subject for which admission is sought in the B. Ed. Course. For Economics, Only Post Graduate Candidates are Eligible. For SC/ST Candidates, the eligibility requirement is a pass in the relevant degree/ Post graduate Course. Total Number of seats : 100 Admission on merit by reservation : 50 Management Quota : 50
M.Ed Course
	Affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
	Recognised by NCTE, New Delhi.
	Approved by the Goverment of TamilNadu.

Student Strength:
	Twenty- five students will be admitted.

Co-Education:
	Boys and girls are admitted in the course.

Duration of the course:
	One academic year.

Eligibility for admission:
	Candidates with 50% marks in B.Ed degree is eligible.
Part A-	COURSE SUBJECT Three core papers and two optional papers.
Part B-	Dissertation:
	A dissertation related to education should be undertaken. Vivo-voce examination will be held after the submission of dissertation to the University.

Medium of Instruction:
	The medium of instruction and examination of the course shall be in English.

Selection procedure:
	For fifty percent of the seats, selection shall be made based on the ranking of the candidate on the basis of percentage of marks in B.Ed subject to communal quota and special category reservation of the Goverment of the TamilNadu.
